More Than Coffee

One of our aims here at the Olive ROC Centre is to show God's love to the local community. We do this in many different ways, through serving in our cafe, offering free groups and activities and working with our partners to improve the lives of local people.

We are not partnered by one denomination or church but instead bring together people from a range of Christian traditions to work in unity, creating opportunities for people to hear about the way in which God's love has changed their lives.

One such opportunity is the More Than Coffee event, which was first held in May 2016. Bringing together live music, powerful stories of how the love of God has transformed lives and, of course, great cofee, over 50 people shared conversations and had the chance to talk and ask questions about the Christian faith.

You can see highlights of this event in the short video shown below (all credit to James Chapman -

We plan to hold  More Than Coffee events several times a year and will update our calendar with dates as soon as possible.  As well as words and music, prayer will be available on request.

And the best news is, you're all invited!
